...With Intent to Perish is a composition of fibrous bodily vessels, witnessed at the crux of desecration and repair, failure and purpose, bondage, and disentanglement. Strands of cellulose and protein are tinged with the bloodlet dye of evanescent memory, scarcely maintained not by the mind of their maker, but the indexicality of their self-suspense. One body moves and maims itself to sustain another, asserting each existence by simply witnessing, reflecting, materializing and unraveling. At once, I and my tertiary bodies expire and reconstitute so rapidly that they appear forever frozen in recovery, yet ever determined. The vulnerability lies within the viscerality, a reflection; what does it mean to harden what once was soft? To witness the degradation of material once whole? To imbue flatness into three-dimensions, or to imbue dimensionality into flattened cloth? What does it mean to create with the intention to destroy?
